Plunder.com banned on UF

Plunder.com file host links are no longer allowed to be posted on UF.
We have had quite a number of members complaining that when they try to download from plunder first come to a survey. They have to take the survey before they can download. Certain regions are selected to have to take the survey while other regions can download with out taking a survey.
The owner of Plunder was contacted and he said he could not remove the surveys because of the revenues he claims he needs. This was his last reply to us.

I’ve tried that avenue, I’ve said I’m willing to find a work around for your members but allowing the 80% of driveby traffic to bypass the survey reduces the revenue too much. I understand the ethics of the scene and being not for proffit because I grew up in it I’m 28 now and spent the last 4 years of my life building plunder up from scratch, I’ve worked full time and coded every part of it myself and intend to have the bankroll ready to fight the court cases when they come. I’ve already been raided by the british police and lost all my equipment and everyone elses in the house and had to replace it, that costs a lot of money. I have close friends who disagree with the way I’m doing things but plunder is my baby and I’ll run it as I want to as you do with your site. If you feel that blocking plunder is what you need to do to preserve the quality of your site then so be it.

Regardless of our different stance on the matter I wish you all the best
with your site and think it’s great that you are fighting for what you
believe in. I’ve enjoyed talking to you and hope this won’t be the last time we talk.
