The Number 1 Underground Community
Underground Forum (UF) is an underground forum, but more importantly it is a community. A community where members become family and friends. It was formed when another forum community was tossed away by its leaders. Those who left that community went on to form The Underground Forum. UF aims to be the best moderated, helpful and clean forum available to ensure that members can more easily find what they’re looking for. Some one is always there to help you. Members always come first on UF.
To sum Underground Forum up… it is a fantastic community.

Congrats to all of you!!!!
The UF VideoProject
Created and Written by Irae
At this point, and reading all the incredible thoughts all above me have written, is really little what else I can add.
The idea I had came out from my work with my kids, since they are little they can’t read yet and for that, they need a lot of visual help as cards flash, big colorful images and videos. And I thought that is the same for people in new places, in their rush for see everything around they don’t do the obvious and the first thing they must do: Read the Rules!
Is when they receive a warning or infraction that they really pay attention to the rules. Why? Because when you receive one, you receive again the Rules sheet where, in the end, you must agree with the items.
OK, since sunday I’ve been working in one of those visual helps, one I’ve called: The UF VideoProject. Once I had the idea my brain started to motion. I knew what I wanted but, as you can see, it took me time to make it real. Is just an amateur attempt of a guideline to help new members to know in a different way not to avoid that first step, to attract their attention to rules and the things UF offers to them.
Now, as I’ve always said, I haven’t been blessed with that talent to use the PS thing to make wonders, so I want to thank from the bottom of my heart to Ilmd and 2ana, for all the help they provide me with some images I couldn’t handle with my poor Paint program (is all I know how to use), so please, forgive any mistake I made. They were utterly kind to let me bug them in this past four days, always willing to give me a hand. Girls,
. I want to thank to Agent_Nothing, too, ’cause I took a couple of his images, and of course to all original makers of the rest.
I think that, with the hands of pros making a real great video, it would be awesome, and the complementary idea is put the link in that first mail Administration send when a new member register in the forum.
I want to thank Paras, too, because his contest really put people in motion. Is fantastic how many great ideas I’ve read.
So I think that’s all, I present to your consideration this little thing I’ve made gladly, always looking to make UF Forum better and better.

Thank you Irae for an excellent submission.

House Cleaning!
Pruning of the graveyard and the request sections has started. The Request Forums and the Graveyard will be pruned to the last 30 days soon. Some members may notice a decrease in the number of their posts. This is due to the pruning.
The pruning will show a more accurate post count for everyone and the cleaning makes searching easier and also keeps the forum cleaner.

How To Post in the Forums

Quality of Posts Verses Quantity of Post
Creating a post count on UF is the easiest thing to do – providing
it isn’t spam. Creating quality posts can take a bit more time and it
makes you a quality member.
What it take to create a quality post depends on what you are
doing. If you are welcoming a member in the Introduction Forum
then take an extra few seconds of your time to add some helpful
suggestion for the new member. Make the welcome warm and
helpful.
If you are posting in any of the download forums take the time
to add informative details, a homepage link, images and even
personal opinions you might have and might help. The lay out
of the post is important, but how much information you provide
is much more important.
Try to watch all of your posts for any questions others may have
and take the time to add anything that may be helpful for others.
It takes much less energy to make a quality post then it does
when your goal is a post count.

Registering your nickname is one of the first things you should do after connecting to the server, as it is how people will recognize you and it will prevent others from taking the nickname. Registering a nickname is simple, takes only one command, and is totally free. After you have been using the nickname for 30 seconds, input the following command:
/ns register password email
Change password to something you will remember, and replace email with your email address. Entering a valid email is required, as we wouldn’t be able to reset your password if we can’t confirm the email address associated with the account.
Also, please bear in mind that passwords are case-sensitive, example: Anope and anope are two different passwords.
Once you have registered, you will need to identify to NickServ every time you log on to the server. To do this use /msg NickServ identify password, replacing password with the password you used when registering your nick.
Unreal3.2.8 is what the server is running for the host.
So go there and register your nickname for now.
